Sewing an apron using 3 fabrics

I have redesigned an apron pattern I had to use three fabrics instead of just the one fabric called for.

Here are the fabrics:

The teal green fabrics are a Patty Reed Designs print and the polka dot brown is a Keepsake Calico.

The original pattern called for facings at the arm holes and with the 3 pieces making up the top, I thought it better to make a whole back facing piece to cover all the seams and give it a better feel.

I also did that at the hemline of the skirt.

Brown dot partly folded to back to hide seams and finish edge nicely.

I finished the sides:

Sewed on the pockets, but using a light teal color thread to match the pocket, rather than the brown I used elsewhere:

Did some hand hemming to the bodice facing:

and the finished product!
