Cabin Fever Counted Cross Stitch

I have decided on my new counted cross stitch project now that I have completed this

It is a design by Kim Norlien licensed to Dimensions using 18 count Aida cloth and the finished size is 16″ x 12″.

I laid out all that came in the kit

Prepared the cloth first by ironing it, then fold to find center of cloth.  I marked the center square with a pen.  I also tapped the edged with masking tape to prevent fraying.

I use a wood scroll frame that my Mom had gotten me many years ago(sorry for the blurry pic).

Found the center of the pattern, thread the needle with my first color…

And I am off and stitching!

After a couple hours work during commercials of a very sad turn-out to the Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers game, I was able to accomplish this much.

Wow, a couple hours work does not look like much does it?  And those are only half stitches too!  Well, I am hoping to post regular updates on my progress!

Please share any you are working on and happy stitching.

I found your post while searching for this pattern online. I have the same kit and am about 3/4 of the way finished. We are preparing for an overseas move, and in getting my cross stitch ready for my carry-on, I realized that the pattern is missing. Do you know of any way to get a copy of the pattern only? If nothing else, could you send me any information about the company so that I can contact them. I would appreciate it so much!
