Update #17 cabin fever counted cross stitch

Finally an update on my monster counted cross stitch project.

First, the following pics are my last two updates way back in February and March…

and here it is today with trees filled in and a lovely house shadow on the lake:

I really love the color detail in this project, it just seems like it will never end!!  I just have another half to do!

Happy stitching!

  1. What a lovely cross stitch this is, Jan, and you’re right, it does look very large. It’s beautiful! Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today for a visit, and glad you enjoyed the hibiscus! I’ve had mine in the ground for 6-7 years and it’s survived all the winters and returned thus far.

Love the colours too. What a beautiful piece. You make me feel that I should get my not started or unfinished pieces out. What is stopping me ——COMPUTER!!

  3. Wow, that is a big project! Good luck with the second half! I used to do quite a bit of counted crossstitch, bu tthen my eyes got old and it became too annoying to try to do! But my youngest daughter has taken up the crossstitch baton and so one again I have new ornaments for the tree!
